Area Notes: Kremstal is one of a handful of tiny appellations in Neiderosterreich, or lower Austria, that are grouped around North-west Vienna and known around the world for excellent quality, often single-vineyard Gruner and Riesling. It consists of a narrow valley with steep terrases, transitioning from the alps to the Hungarian plain
