Nose: Fragrant, red berries, red and black cherry, some slight baking spice and leather
Palate: Light and ethereal, lithe red and black fruit, with some subtle, silky tannins and a touch of earth and leather. Graceful and well integrated.
Winemaking Notes: Wild fermented, aged in neutral French oak for 15 months. Unfined and unfiltered. Minimal sulphur added
Producer Notes: Rosewood are one of the top producers in Niagara leading the charge in low intervention, highly terrior- expressive wines. Currently led by owner William Roman and winemaker Ryan Corrigan, they create serious wine that’s also fun to drink
Area Notes: Twenty Mile bench features relatively high elevation and a double bench, with north facing slopes getting plenty of sun exposure and temperatures being regulated by the nearby lake. It has incredibly varied soil types
