Zippy, fresh NZ Sauv, with heaps of tropical fruit, cut grass and lovely acidity.
Nose: Tropical island fruit, peach, lemon and fresh cut grass.
Palate: Crisp and refreshing, with juicy tropical fruit and generous acidity.
Winemaking Notes: Organic fruit. 10% fermented in French oak, the rest in stainless. Left to age on lees to fill out the palate a bit.
Producer Notes: Anthony Moore built his own winery in 2002, adding a custom crush facility to help out other small winemakers in the area.
Area Notes: Marlborough is probably the best known wine producing region in New Zealand. It has a broad contrast between hot, sunny days and cool nights, which has led many to consider its Sauvignon Blancs to be among the best in the world.
