Aromatic, complex white blend from the heart of the Loire valley. High acid and juicy, with citrus and acacia.
Nose: Aromatic and expressive, with citrus, acacia, apples and herbaceous, almost
Palate: Juicy, high acid, with striking mineral notes and more citrus and acacia.
Long, slightly saline finish.
Winemaking Notes: Organic and biodynamic grapes, harvested manually. Natural
yeast, little sulfur, unfined and unfiltered.
Producer Notes: Small family owned vineyard in the heart of the Loire valley. All
wines are made exclusively with estate fruit, all of which is organic, and
Area Notes: Cheverny is a tiny appellation in the Central Loire Valley. It has a
continental climate with fairly moderate temperature. Reds are composed of Gamay,
Cot (Malbec) and Cab Franc, while the whites are predominantly Sauvignon Blanc,
with Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc blended in.
