Nose: Fragrant, nutty, bruised stonefruit, honey, broom, apple.

Palate: Lime, almond, white peach. Medium bodied, dry, medium acid, fresh and mineral.

Winemaking Notes: Organic, biodynamic, handpicked grapes, fermented spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel and aged in steel for 6 months

Producer Notes: Relatively new (founded in 2000) organic vineyard, farm and restaurant. Powered entirely by its own solar station, and completely gravity fed. All handpicked, biodynamically grown grapes.

Area Notes: Umbria is a large wine region located in the center of Italy. It is the only region that is entirely landlocked. Crossed by two valleys, and possessing a very large area in general, Umbria has a great variety of micro-climates and topographies suited to viticulture in their own ways.
