Named for popular Piedmontese slang (Eh?), this is a fresh, easy drinking white with orchard fruit and honey.
Nose: White flowers, apples, pears, bananas.
Palate: Fresh and lively acidity, with decent body and honey notes to complement
the fruit found on the nose.
Winemaking Notes: Biodynamic, organic, hand-picked grapes, fermented and aged
Producer Notes: Fifth generation winemaker Marina Marcorino inherited her estate
in 1982 and immediately set about converting to organic and biodynamic agriculture,
fighting hard against commercial trends in the area at the time. She is known for
producing the first ever organic Barbaresco.
Area Notes: Piedmont is one of Italy’s northernmost wine regions, and is well known
for its expressions of Nebbiolo, famously presented as Barolo and Barbaresco.
Barbera is also grown in the area, alongside some lesser known white varietals.
