Nose: Bright red fruits, lots of cherry, cranberry and raspberry, with some fennel and

Palate: Bursting with tart fruit and acid. Light bodied, lots of young red fruit, and
some chalky, mineral earth notes. Some notes of dill and fennel on the finish, which
is surprisingly long for a wine this young.

Winemaking Notes: Handpicked and destemmed fruit from Beamsville Bench,
Twenty Mile Bench and Lincoln Lakeshore. Wild fermented, left on skins for 34 days.
Aged 15 months in neutral oak. Unfined and unfiltered.

Producer Notes: Rosewood estates is undergoing a bit of a revolution, having hired
Ryan Corrigan (of Pearl Morissette and Opus One) in 2016 to make their wine after a
hard winter. Alongside their mead and honey, they are experimenting with making
wine in new and exciting ways

Area Notes: The heart of Niagara wine country. Situated on lakeshore plains with
gentle slopes, most of the area has good exposure to daytime sun, leading to high
daytime temperature ranges and fantastic growing conditions.
