Beautiful Bordeaux Sauv Blanc. Crisp and textured, fantastic acid and citrus with some tropical fruits and flowers.

Appellation: Blaye-Cotes de Bordeaux
Nose: Clean pronounced youthful nose of gooseberry, lime, grapefruit, peach and some elderflower. A hint of flint
Palate: Dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol and body. Ripe grapefruit, gooseberry, citrus followed by some lush tropical fruit.
Winemaking Notes: 24 hour temperature controlled skin maceration to release aromas. Aged and fermented in stainless steel, 3 months on the lees
Producer Notes: Château Haut Grelot was established in 1920 in the village of "Les Grelots." 4th generation winemaker.
Area Notes: Right-bank Bordeaux region, with clay-limestone soils. White wines from the area are typically Sauv-Blanc/ Semillon blends
