Nose: Fresh, bright red fruit, strawberry, pomegranate and red currant, with some pepper
Palate: Balanced, light red fruit, not overly ripe or tannic, with decent acid. Dry, herbal, with notes of fennel and ginger
Winemaking Notes: Organic fruit. Handpicked, destemmed, macerated on skins for 24 hours. Fermented in stainless steel, lightly filtered. Small production: only 550 cases made
Producer Notes: Domaine des Anges is a small vineyard in Ventoux, situated on a hillside looking out on Mont Ventoux. Long hot summers, cool nights, limestone and loam soils and good altitude all benefit their wines.
